Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table C.1860.

Description

Superb mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1860. Original 39" diameter white marble top featuring a broad shaped edge with concentric rings designed to stop spilt liquids from running over the sides. Mahogany veneered apron with an applied moulding to the bottom edge. Over a beautiful broad turned and reeded column raised on four crisply carved legs decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
