Art Deco English Sterling Silver Tea Caddy & Integral Spoon

Description

A stunning English sterling silver tea caddy, simple and stylish and in lovely condition.

What makes this example very special is the matching integral caddy spoon fitted into the interior of the hinged lid, it is original to the box with matching hallmarks. Both the caddy and spoon are hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 together with the makers mark for the top notch silversmith, William Hutton & Sons.

The interior of the caddy is lavishly gilded, washed in gold. So lucky to find one of these complete with the spoon, as you can imagine they are often missing.

Superb condition measuring 3 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 4" tall. 5.67 Troy ounces / 176.5 Grams.
