Antique Edwardian Sheraton Mahogany Dressing Table C1900

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Dressing Table in the manner of Sheraton and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a large bevelled mirror set within a mahogany frame on mahogany supports with fine stringing and with turned finials to the top. The base has a low gallery back and receded edge to the serpentine shaped top above a central drawer which is mahogany lined with original brass handles and fine stringing to the drawer front over a shaped frieze. The drawer sits above a central kneehole with an inset mahogany shaped shelf. To each side there is a bow front door with moulded and crosscut panels with an inlaid oval to the centre with original brass handles and with an internal shelf. It is raised on short tapering legs on original castors with fine inlaid stringing.
