The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a keyless top-wind movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 2,197,662 dates it back to 1918.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 900 silver and there are Continental marks inside both of the case backs, together with the Zenith logo inside the outer back. The back of the watch has a sunburst effect pattern and a cartouche with the remains of a name.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The signed double sunk dial is in its original finish which has darkened with age. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
