A rarer "giant" French carriage clock. A brass case with fluted corinthium capped side columns. A stepped moulded case and fluted handle centre. A circular enamel dial with gilt masking. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the half hours and hours on a gong. Numbered to the back of the movement 15743. Circa. 1895
