Boxed Set Victorian Fruit Knives & Forks - Mother of Pearl Handles

Description

A beautiful Victorian set of fruit knives and forks unusual to be found in a set of eight, with stunning Mother of Pearl or Nacre handles with it's iridescent quality.

The set for six comes in it's original solid English Oak presentation box unfortunately no key. Each piece bears the makers mark C.J.A for CHARLES JAMES ALLEN of Sheffield. This set also benefits from each individual piece bearing the design registration number for the year 1893.

All in excellent condition. The knives measuring 7" long and the forks, 6" long. The presentation box measures 15 1/4" x 8" x 2 1/2".
