Description

An incredibly pretty late 19thc French mahogany lamp table, with galleried lower shelf and pull out slide c1880. It has lots of good features - quarter veneered top with solid brass gallery; cabriole legs with gilt brass feet; a pull out slide on the right hand side; a drawer embellished with a brass panel surround and with a gorgeous gilt metal double turn key; similar brass panel surrounds on the sides and back of the drawer casing; a lower shelf with pierced brass gallery front and back, and mahogany sides. A really elegant drawing room piece, with all round finishes, so it can stand on its own, not against a wall.
