Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It has a single drawer below a shelf with handsome brass handle, features shaped aprons below the top and bottom shelves and stands on elegantly tapered legs. Overall in good condition with wonderful light colour and beautiful figuring to the mahogany. A really good quality piece that would work equally well as a bedside cabinet as it would next to a desk or as a lamp table.
