Description:
Antique English pewter bed pan with removeable handle by Stynt Duncomb of Bewdley, Worcestershire, England. Who worked 1745-1767. The bed pan is of very solid construction with a solid threaded handle that unscrews. There is a good set of makers touchmarks to the reverse, a Rose and crown along with a London label. There is also an old collectors label.
Condition:
The bed pan is in excellent condition with a clean polished finish all over. The screw thread on the handle is in perfect condition.
Repairs: There are no repairs that I could detect.
Size:
11.25 inch pan diameter (28.30cm).
2.50 in deep (6.40cm).
Weight: 2075 grams.
