Mid Century 33.44 Carat Emerald Cut Aquamarine Ring, Circa 1950

1940 - 1960
Description

A wondrous, walloping vintage aquamarine ring. The large, step cut aquamarine displays a strong and bright blue, and is secured by four white gold claws within a beautifully detailed platinum gallery. The etched and milgrained shoulders are each set with four eight-cut diamonds to a D-shaped white gold shank. Absolutely mega.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309508).

Cut – Octagonal step cut (emerald cut) aquamarine with eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to J.

Clarity – The aquamarine is clean to the naked eye (VVS). The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.

Carat – The aquamarine is 33.44 carat with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.15 carat.

Circa – 1950.

Size – I 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The aquamarine is approximately 20.3 x 18.4. Sits 12mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold and platinum. Tested.
