Gothic Antique Carved Oak Dresser

An attractive early 19th century Gothic style oak dresser having moulded cornice, three fitted shelves with decorative turned and arched rails, two fitted drawers to the base one having an iron loop handle and the other with an old iron lock plate, above two decorative panelled cupboard doors, opening to reveal a single fitted shelf, raised on stile feet. Carved decoration throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In well-worn antique condition throughout with various signs of age and wear. Surface wear throughout including many marks, scratches, losses etc. in various places. Evidence of extensive historical wood worm – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Structurally solid and sound. Separates into two parts for ease of transport and movement. Overall, a charming piece with a Gothic feel.
