Low Back Oak & Leather Couch C.1925.

1900 - 1920
Description

Early 20th.c. low back oak and leather couch c.1925. Low padded backrest in original tan leather front and rear with brass studs. Oak arms with carved scrolling leaf detail to the fronts and bergere or cane side panels. Over a deep sprung seat with three feather filled cushions in the original soft bronze coloured velvet. Leather upholstered base over an unusual carved and pierced apron also in oak. Lovely carved tassel feet to the front stiles. Some wear to the piping at the front of the cushion covers. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
