Description

Fine quality Belle Epoque era French satinwood side cabinet c.1900. Just 33" wide, a two door cupboard with a single shelf inside (depth 16?) over two short and two long drawers. A very good looking cabinet with sparkling satinwood veneers across the front, top and sides. Raised and moulded door and drawer fronts and fluted front stiles. Exceptional quality gilded and pierced bronze mounts to the shoulders. Additional mounts to the corners of the doors and original gilded handles and escutcheon plates. Raised on turned tapering and fluted legs with brass feet. Oak groundwork, drawer linings and back panel. Note the full length lock and original Paris maker’s label inside the right hand door. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Original key supplied.
