Pair of Antique Swedish Leather Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning and extremely comfortable pair of antique leather and satin birch armchairs. These were made in Sweden, they date from around the 1900-1920 period.

They were re-upholstered in high quality leather fairly recently by the previous owners, we have also had these hand coloured and revived by our leather restorer. They are in superb condition for their age, the leather has a beautifully soft feel.

These armchairs have a beautiful design & have very generous proportions. They have pleated deep buttoned backs, with good back supports, sprung seats, hand tacking & satin birch feet.

Depth – 35 inches , 89 cm

Height – 29 inches , 74 cm

Seat height – 15 inches , 39 cm
