Description

A superb mid Victorian period inlaid pitch pine linen press by Bell and Coupland of Preston. Of very good construction in solid pine with stunning figured pine veneers. Embellished throughout with inlaid banding in rosewood. The top section with a pair of cupboard doors (lockable, key supplied) which open to reveal an interior with a hanging rail and hooks. The base section with an arrangement of 2 short over 2 long drawers (the makers name stamped into the top right hand drawer) all fitted with their original bun handles. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition. With a great colour and patina, this stunning linen press is ready to go straight into the home. Splits into 3 sections for ease of installation.
