George James Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Also, the Ashburnham pattern (originally commissioned by the Earl of Ashburnham in 1747,) was only attempted by the very best silversmiths (Sprimont, Storr, Hunt & Roskell, Hunt and Mortimer) due to it's demanding nature.
This piece is in fine condition and would be a great addition to any collection.
