The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a signed 17-jewel bumper automatic movement which is working nicely.
Later automatic watches have the fully rotational rotor.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the handsomely shaped lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. There are general light surface marks but overall the condition is good for a 1940s piece.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has original hands, seconds sweep and outer red 24 hour numbers. Originally there would have been radium painted detail to the numbers and hands but this has been professionally removed at some stage.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
