Chippendale Style Mahogany Display Cabinet

A very good late 19th century mahogany display cabinet in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Of very good construction and of generous proportions. To the top there is a dentil cornice over a blind fret-work freeze. The pair of glazed doors are fitted with intricate astricals, they open to access a shelved interior complete with its original lining material. The doors are flanked by columns and sit over a pair of drawers, The drawers are fitted with their original solid brass handles and the drawer fronts are decorated with more blind fret-work. The stylised legs are united by an under-tier. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops this cabinet is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home. Splits into two sections for ease of installation.
