Description:
Antique English pewter broad rim charger of large size dating from the period 1660-1680. There are no makers hallmarks or touchmarks that can be seen.
Provenance:
By repute Haddon Hall, Derbyshire. (Bonham''s).
Condition:
The charger is in good condition with a very lightly cleaned finish to the front, there are some knife marks to the front showing signs of use. The reverse is partially cleaned with some oxide.
Repairs: There several old repairs that can be seen in the images.
Size: 22.00 inch diameter (55.80cm).
Rim - 4.125in (10.50cm). 38%.
