Antique Scottish Pewter 1 Quart Spouted Measure, R Galbraith, 1829-72.

Description:
 
A 1 quart ''tulip'' shaped spouted measure by Robert Galbraith of King Street, Glasgow; who worked 1829-1872. The measure has a double scroll handle with fish tail terminal, the measure stands on a large flared foot. The measure is marked with the makers mark to the left of the handle and also on the inside base. The mark to the base is the Royal Arms of Scotland, this was only used after 1837. There are also numerous verification marks to the rim.

Excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish and some small traces of light oxide.
 
Repairs: There are no repairs that I could detect.
