Description

Very smart late 19th.c. French mahogany armoire or linen press c.1880. Just 40" wide. Single door with a full length dressing mirror, fitted inside with four adjustable shelves (depth 13½"), over a single drawer in the base. Highly figured mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern on the front. Tall arched cornice with raised mouldings, shaped mouldings to the door and surround and to the plinth. Sparkling maple veneers to the back of the door, mahogany shelf fronts, oak interior, back boards and drawer linings. Superb colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
