A good quality weight driven 8 day English made mahogany cased granddaughter clock in the Georgian style circa 1930.

The small proportioned case with flat topped hood and freestanding turned columns capped with wooden capitals and decorative blind fretwork frieze,

The finest quality figured flame mahogany trunk door, mounted on a box base with shaped plinth feet.

The well executed brass and silvered dial, with fine quality engraving to the dial centre.

The very well made fully restored 8 day weight driven movement striking the hours and half hour on a curled blued steel gong.

Lead weights and lozenge shaped brass bob pendulum.

Fretted blued steel hands

Overall a very good quality granddaughter / longcase clock manufactured to a very high level and now fully restored and keeping excellent time.
