A rather lovely pair of 19th century antique elm country farmhouse kitchen chairs having the spindle back rests, solid elm seats with attractive grain pattern, raised on four turned legs with straight ‘H’ stretcher supports.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the seats (pictured), but overall, good. Historic repair to one of the stretcher supports – this does not affect the integrity of the chair. Both chairs remain in solid and sturdy condition with good tight joints. Particularly pleasing colour and patina. A good pair of antique country chairs.
