A wonderful large ceramic charger by John Pearson 33cm diameter recently sourced from a private collection, with prevoius provenance from Old Battersea House; a collection of art works by Evelyn de Morgan and her potter husband William De Morgan. Painted in the Iznik inspired De Morgan pallette with scenes of birds amongst foliage. The reverse painted with pelican type bird, Pearson''s hourglass type mark and the initials JP.
