Late Regency Cut Lead Crystal Decanter C1830

Description

A beautiful single late Regency cut lead crystal decanter c1830. The size is suitable for wine or fortified wines such as port. It is a tour de force of cutting - star cut case, then a band of diagonal feather shape cut, then a band of deep circles. Above this the body is cross cut, the shoulder has an oblong plain cut band, and above this are 3 neck rings, one plain and 2 cross cut. The stopper has a tiny cross cut design, interspersed with deep channel cuts. The stopper fits perfectly. Excellent condition for its age. And very sparkly.
