Gents 1960s Orfina Golden Flame automatic wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality 25-jewel ETA automatic movement for Orfina, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 35mm wide excluding the winding crown and 35mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel. The screw-on case back is signed with the Orfina Golden Flame logo, as is the original winding crown. There is some surface marking to the case back but overall the condition is good. On the back of the watch, it states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens has a 2mm scratch but otherwise is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and faceted number markers. The watch has an early form of quickset date where the hands are repeatedly moved backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8pm until the desired date is reached.

The watch comes on a stainless steel bracelet which currently fits a 19.5cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it about 1.5cm smaller.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
