Solid walnut exterior with gadroon moulded cornice over a fluted frieze to the front and sides. Fluted uprights with unusual carved spiral ribbon detail to the front corners. Arched glazing to the door with carved detail to the surround and flanked with floral carvings. Moulded base raised on short turned, fluted and tapering legs. Solid oak back panel. Ownership stamp on the underside for one Christian Juberthie director of the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Reasearch) in Moulis Southern France. Door has been refitted to be right hand opening meaning the lock is upside down. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
