Description

This stunning 5.5 inches tall Victorian silver and Bohemian green glass scent bottle or cologne bottle is dated London 1900 and is hallmarked for the renowned Mappin & Webb. The unusually shaped rich green glass body cut to clear glass in geometric patterns. The neck fitted with a beautiful, fully hallmarked, embossed silver lid fitted on a hallmarked silver neck.
The neck with the original glass stopper.
The base star cut.
Hallmarks:
Mn & Wb for Mappin & Webb.
London Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "e" for 1900.
Dimensions:
Height: 14.5cm / 5.5 inches.
Base diameter: 9.5cm / 3.6 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Glass body and neck with no chips.
Silver lid in good condition.
Silver neck with minor creasing, commensurate with age.
