Description

A lovely antique burr walnut Sutherland table. We date this table to the late 19th century.
The main table has a rectangular shape when fully extended. The leaves pull up and the leaves are able to be supported by the underframe legs.

The table features ornately turned stretchers and uprights.

The table has an open height of 26" (66cm), a width of 33" (84cm) and a depth of 39" (99cm).

With the leaves closed the table has a top depth of 5.5" (14cm) and the legs have a depth of 10.5” (27cm).

This lovely walnut table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some marks and indentation lines to the top surface. There are some very light scratches, primarily to the centre section of the top surface.

This remains a very stylish and elegant walnut table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
