A Victorian Mahogany 9 Drawer Collectors Cabinet Circa 1880.

Description

A very useful and aesthetically pleasing victorian mahogany collectors cabinet which will serve many and varied uses today. Firstly a collection of various sized objects may be accommodated within the nine graduated drawers, in addition it would make an excellent compendium for either a lady or gentleman to store clothing, shoes, various necessaries and other items, perhaps jewellery, watches, ties cufflinks, medicines,etc,etc.

Dimensions.

Height. 35 inches.

Width. 38.25 inches.

Front to back. 18.5 inches.

The drawer sizes from the top are as follows.

Top 2 drawers. 16.5 inches by 14.25 inches. Usable internal depth 1 and seven eighths inches.

2nd 2 drawers. 16.5 inches by 14.25 inches. Usable internal depth. 2 and one eighth inches.

3rd 2 drawers. 16.5 inches by 14.25 inches. Usable internal depth. 3 inches.

4th 2 drawers. 16.5 inches by 14.25 inches. Usable internal depth. 6 and three eighths inches.

Bottom drawer 33.75 inches wide. Internal usable depth. 9 and one eighth inches.

All in beautifully figured honduras mahogany with arched panel doors, shoot bolts and original lock and key. Rides on hidden casters for ease of movement.
