Description

Quality Edwardian oak pedestal desk c.1905. Good large size, five feet by three feet top with a tooled leather work surface and moulded edge over three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals, each with three drawers of graduated depth either side of a 24" wide x 24" high kneehole. Oak drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and original brass handles, oak drawer linings (with unusual moulded top edge to the drawer sides). Fluted detail to the uprights either side of the drawers. Raised and fielded oak panels to the sides and rear. Moulded plinths with original castors below. Typical old wear to the leather, generally excellent condition cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
