Art Deco World has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The casing is intricately engraved and shows real signs of quality. The watch winds and sets (pin set) push thumbnail into pusher next to crown to then turn the crown and to set the hands, it runs faultlessly ticking loud and strong keeping very good time.
The case is 32mm wide (34mm including the crown) and 35mm from lug to lug. Strap width is 14mm
About the Services Company
The Services Watch Co., Ltd was founded in Leicester by a Frank Liquorish sometime in 1926/27, it was dissolved on 26/11/2002. Services watches stopped being produced in the late 1970s.The company never actually made watches themselves instead they either had them made by other firms or bought parts in which were then assembled in the Services factory. Mainly sourcing their movements from Switzerland.
