Wonderfully stylish and completely original rare 1930's Art Deco female advertising shop counter mannequin. She's made from hollowed plaster and has a hardboard base. Having been very skillfully and beautifully painted, her very subtle make up, blushed cheeks, real eyelashes accentuate her hand painted eyes, she's perfect for display. Very typical of Deco mannequins with stylised long pedestal column base, in gold and pastel green. She stands 40 cm tall so an excellent size for dressing tables and general display and certainly worthy of being added to any collection. Condition, well aside two small spots where two slithers of paint have come away she's in almost perfect condition for her age. No cracks, crazing is to the minimum, no discolouration. Her hair clips are original and showing just early signs of rusting but for come up to 90 odd years that's to be expected. She definitely won't disappoint , all we can really say is find another ?
