An Edwardian Chippendale style mahogany 2 door bookcase. The rectangular shaped polished top having a moulded and egg & dart carved edge above the blind fretted frieze. The 2 mahogany framed doors having 13 pane astragal glazing bars, closing strip and working brass lock with keys and open to reveal 2 adjustable shelves. The whole supported on a shaped frieze with well carved claw and ball legs with acanthus carving to the knees. Condition- Very good & original. Dimensions:- Height…56’’/ 142.5cm. Width…50’’/ 127cm.
