Antique Oak Late 18thc Shipwrights Toolbox Dated 1827 . French C1780-90

A rare 18thc Oak Shipwrights Tool Box, complete with brass plaque of Napoleon in uniform...the box has been ''scratch'' decorated with hearts and geometric patterns....it is also dated 1827 on one end, although it was made earlier.....all the iron work is blacksmith made and original. The box has been passed down from the original owner through generations of his family ....a wonderful heirloom..!
