A super pretty Edwardian gold swallow brooch set with tiny seed pearls. The swallow traditionally represents enduring love and loyalty, as it mates for life, and is historically considered good luck in England.

Crisply hallmarked for Chester nine-carat gold 1906.

In very good antique condition, the tiniest pearl next to the tail is vacant.

Size: 3.9cm long, the swallow measures 2 x 1.6cm.
