George III Welsh Oak Lambing Chair Circa 1760

Description

Superb Welsh Georgian oak lambing chair of larger than usual proportions. Raised panels to back, front and sides and with flat scrolling arms. Attractive detail to top an back. Original softwood seat. All in completely un-touched original condition with no repairs. Wonderful nutty colour with superb waxed patina. It shines like glass. A very fine example of its kind.

Size; 46" high. 27" wide across arms, 28" deep. Seat eight 18"
