Description

Very impressive carved oak three door wardrobe c.1910. Fitted for full length hanging behind all three doors (internal depth 19") with a dressing mirror inside the centre door and an extra drawer in the base of the right hand section. Over two large drawers in the base. Gadroon moulded and flared cornice with a lovely carved frieze across the front. A double arch with guilloche detail to the centre door over a linenfold panel. Pointed arch mouldings to the side doors with carved detail repeated from the cornice. Matching drawer fronts in the base. Raised on turned and carved bun feet. Superb quality in solid oak throughout, note how the timbers on the front are quarter sawn to reveal the medullary rays. Excellent colour and condition with original brass drop handels. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Splits into two sections plus cornice and base for delivery.
