Late 19th.c. Button Back Easy Armchair C.1880.

Description

Late 19th.c. easy armchair in the manner of Howard & Son c.1880. Very comfortable with a low button upholstered backrest and nicely shaped arms on particularly good square mahogany supports with crisp carved reeding over a deep sprung seat (height 14?). Vintage upholstery in a soft moss green velvet with gold trim. Mahogany legs, the front ones being a repeat of the arm supports, the rear ones swept backwards for stability. Raised on quality brass and brown ceramic castors front and rear. In very good unrestored condition with clean and serviceable upholstery.
