Six William IV Mahogany Dining Chairs C.1835.

Description

Good set of six William IV mahogany dining chairs c.1835. Backrests with broad curved tops with crisp carved detail and veneered in highly figured flame mahogany over a horizontal reeded stretcher. Shaped rear stiles and side rails. Reeded, turned and tapering front legs in the manner of Gillows. Seat height 18?, the loose seat pads covered in a serviceable flatweave fabric (reupholstery can be arranged). Frames are in excellent condition, solid and sturdy cleaned and polished in our workshops.
