Description

A very fine example in a rich mahogany. This piece comes in two parts and bears its original iron carrying handles, drawer handles and bun feet.
This chest bears extra brass banding for protection and the drawer handles are beautifully sunken. It is made up of three long and two very spacious short drawers.
I always wonder what stories campaign furniture could tell if pieces could speak.
Out of all antique furniture, fine quality campaign examples like this one are by far the best investment. A few marks which is quite usual, they wouldn’t be genuine without them.
