This is a fantastic looking piece furniture it dates from the mid 19th century
The background paint is pale cream paint which is overlaid with a striking black open mesh
The press is sturdy and sound, though the paint now has an age darkened slightly distressed finish but still a very exceptional piece
The top section of the Linen Press has a modern hanging rail enclosed by large panelled doors, and this sits on top of a 4 drawer chest of drawers with 2 short drawers over 2 longer drawers
The press has an elegant age darkened gold cornice on top and it stands on similar gold turned feet
This cabinet gives not only a substantial amount of storage but has great presence, it would work very well as a stand alone piece
The press can be separated for transportation it is 86”high, 52”wide and 27”deep
