Pair of Swedish Art Deco Satin Birch Armchairs

1920 - 1940
Description

A Very stylish pair of original Art Deco period armchairs. These were made in Sweden, they date from around the 1930’s.

We have recently brought these over from Sweden. The wood has been French polished and we have had these re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric. They are in superb overall condition for their age.

The arms and legs are satin birch, these have a fantastic shape and are very comfortable. This particular pair have shaped backs. These chairs would fit in modern or traditional room settings

We do have & will be getting more similar pairs, also on our site. Some have square backs & some have shaped backs.

Depth – 33 inches , 84 cm

Height – 28 inches , 71 cm

Seat height – 16 inches , 41 cm
