Antique French Carved Satin Wood Occasional Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A stunning antique side table, beautifully made from carved and inlaid satin wood. This is in the antique French style, I would say it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is amazing, with deep and intricate carving all around the edges. The top is beautifully shaped and recessed, with inlay around the border. There are also two brass handled pull out slides that come out from either end.

We have had this recently French polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with minor old wear to be seen here and there under the polish.

Width open – 51 inches , 130 cm

Depth – 22 inches , 55 cm

Height – 30 inches , 76 cm
