A Superb Library Writing Table by Gillows

Description

A superb library writing table by Gillows. Of impressive scale and in Cuban mahogany and raised on end supports with carved paw feet and turned columns with acanthus leaf carving and united by a stretcher. The top with "D' ends has four mahogany lined drawers, two to each side, a deep molded and banded edge and a charcoal black leather inset writing surface with acanthus leaf gold tooling. In very good condition and of good colour. 750mm high, 1680mm wide 1020mm deep. Circa 1830.
