This Good Quality English Oak Longcase Clock with Attractive Carved Decorations and Glazed Trunk Door was Retailed by Pleasance & Harper of 4 Wine Street Bristol (now based in Hereford). The Great Grandfather of Gentleman who sold us the clock was Presented it For 42 Years Loyal Service. Good Solid and Sound of Warm Colour and Patina.

Good Quality 8 Day Movement Gufa or Guetenbacher Uhrenfabrik of Gutenbach Germany set up by Charles-Herbert Schartz and later became the Jahresuhrenfabrik (August Schatz & Sons in Triberg, Germany). August Schatz 25.06.1854 - 07.02.1927. Checked, Oiled & Tested to be in Good & Full Antique Working Condition.

Choice of Westminster, St Michael, Whittington or Silence with Lever played on 8 Gong Rods and an Additional 4 for the Hour Strike. Please listen to Video.
