A pretty Edwardian 18 karat gold emerald and diamond boat shaped cluster ring. With two cushion cut emeralds each estimated at 0.15ct each surrounded by four old cut diamonds in a carved/scroll setting. The hallmark is worn but it looks as if it was manufactured in Birmingham in 1900. An unusual design using two emeralds both of a lovely, rich color it is a very attractive dress ring. Signifying hope in the Victorian language of lapidary, the recipient of such a ring would have understood the latent meaning well.

MEASUREMENT – 17mm across the width of the band.
The head of the ring measures 15mm W x 4mm D when worn on the finger
WEIGHT – 2.44g
MATERIALS – 18 karat yellow gold/Emeralds/Diamonds
EMERALD – Each is 0.15ct estimated weight (total weight 0.30ct)
DIAMOND - Four x 0.02ct Old Cut diamonds (total weight 0.08ct)
HALLMARK – The hallmarked is worn yet we can ascertain that it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1900. It is also stamped '18ct'.
CONDITION – This ring does show some wear to the top facet of both of the emeralds. The shank shows some wear at the base. Please check our images carefully. The stones are all securely set. All this is commensurate with a ring that is 120 years old. It still remains a very pretty piece with lots of charm.
