Antique Edwardian Mahogany Tea Table

1900 - 1920
Description

This stunning and unusual antique Edwardian side table, has a flap over top which doubles the top surface & turns it into a tea table or card table. This is beautifully made from mahogany, it dates from the 1890-1900 period.

There is fine carving all over the base, with blind fretwork & beautiful pierced fretwork under each corner. There is a second lower tier which joins up with the tapered legs.

Width – 20 inches , 51 cm

Width open – 29 inches , 74 cm

Depth – 15 inches , 38 cm

Height – 27 inches , 68 cm
