Good Quality 8 Day Westminster Mellow Chiming and Hour Striking Oak Longcase Clock with Attractive Molding and Decorations to the Hood & Long Trunk Door Raised on Bracket Feet. It was a Wedding Present in 1930.

The English Case is in Good and Sound Solid Condition of Attractive Colour and Patination. Height 77in or 195.5cm.

In 1888 Jacob Schlenker-Grusen established his Clock Movement Factory in Schwenningen Germany. The Jsgus tradename was registered in 04.09.1915 and in 1962 the ownership was transferred from Alfred Schlenker to his son-in-law and nephew Alfred Wurthner producting automatic timekeeper industrial small drives and signal instrumentation.

The Movement Chimes on each quarter(getting longer on each) on 4 Rods and Strikes the Hours on the O'clock on another 4 Rods and has been Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Good and Full Antique Working Condition.
