A stunning & very stylish antique Neoclassical table, beautifully made from walnut and brass. This is in the antique Regency style & I would date it from around the 1920-30’s. It is a great size to be used as a desk, dressing table or console side table.

It sits on a beautifully made solid brass base, with brass ormolu mounts all around the top, which is walnut. The top has a locking key, and it flips open to reveal a sycamore lined storage space. This is beautifully finished all around and on the back too, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently French polished, it is in great condition for its age.

Please enlarge all the images. The brass ‘X’ frames base has some lovely castings on the tops, feet & at the ends. The brass itself is naturally aged in places & I would just leave it as is, because it adds to the character.
